Dr Ira Price is an emergency physician currently working at Hamilton Health Sciences. He also practices in sports medicine as the the team physician for varsity rugby at McMaster and he opened the first medical cannabis clinic in Ontario back in 2010 on upper james, where he continues to work with patients and physicians from across the country. He spends the majority of his time lecturing across Ontario on the medical application of cannabinoids.
Katie has been teaching yoga full time since 1997. She likes to joke that she was certified to teach yoga while still in the womb, as her mother went through yoga teacher training while pregnant with her! Katie’s roots are in ashtanga yoga and she derives inspiration from many styles of yoga including Vinyasa, Iyengar, Anusara and Kundalini.
PJ O’Sullivan is the owner and chief instructor at Pura BJJ. He earned his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2010. He has been teaching BJJ for over 15 years. PJ has travelled across the world teaching and training BJJ. He has been able to train with some of the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitors in the world.
Katie is the founder of De La Sol Yoga Studios in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada which first opened in 2006 and expanded to a second location in January of this year. She is the host of Yoga With Katie, a 30min instructional yoga show which airs six days a week and is seen by 900,000 viewers. Recently, Katie has been speaking out at high schools and recovery centers about her history of drug addiction and ongoing journey towards wellness and wholeness. She is currently working on her first book, a memoir titled Waking Up.
PJ has also helped to coach and prepare several athletes for their professional fights in many organizations, including the UFC. PJ has also taught BJJ classes and seminars across the world, most notably at the Art of Jiu Jitsu Academy in Costa Mesa, California, which is one of the most well-known Brazilian Jiu Jitsu schools in the world.
Erin teaches an original style of Yin Yang Yoga and meditation that has evolved over the past decade. Through her classes and website www.aquinyoga.com Erin has worked with students and teachers all over the world. In early 2015, she published her first book, The A-Z of Being a Successful Yoga Teacher which has helped hundreds of instructors realize their goals. Erin published her second book, Elemental Yin Yang Yoga: A Practice to Fuel Your Life, in 2016.
Since starting her career as a paralegal 12 years ago, Michelle Zare has had a passion for advocacy. In 2009 she established Zare Paralegal Services, a paralegal firm dedicated to defending the rights of injured workers, with a special interest in First Responders. Never afraid to speak up against injustice, Michelle stands strong for injured workers across Ontario.
Rory has been training as an elite athlete since he was 14 years old. He was the captain of the OFSAA Championship EC Drury HS wrestling team. He continued his wrestling at the University of Guelph where he was a member of the varsity team through out his career. While there he became the Greco-Roman National Champion, and won or medaled at numerous national and international competitions, including the Copa De Sparta in Puerto Rico.
Aaron Dedrick is the co-owner/operator of Battlefield Strength and Performance. He started weight training in1992 and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2006, and has been a strength coach since 2010. Aaron has coached and trained with some of the best athletes in the world including two Olympic Games athletes, world record holding powerlifters, Jiu-Jitsu players, MMA fighters, university football and hockey players, triathletes, marathon runners and CrossFit competitors at the Regional level.
While attending University. Rory met and began training with BJJ black belt and UFC veteran Jeff Joslin. Rory helped Jeff develop his wrestling, and in exchange Jeff began training Rory in MMA. During this time Rory expanded his focus to include other martial arts as well. He began to train in Krav Maga, boxing, kickboxing, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. It was then that he decided to dedicate his life to the pursuit of martial arts.
Rory earned his first pro MMA fight by winning an open tryout run by Apex Fighting. Some highlights of his martial arts career include being hand selected to travel to Afghanistan to put on the first ever MMA fight in an active war zone. He has also been selected twice to represent Canada at the FILA World Championships for NoGi grappling. He continues to fight MMA professionally and all his wins have come by way of submission. He has his NCCP National Coaching Certification in Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, as well as in boxing. His athletes have become national and international MMA champions as both amateurs and professionals. He has coached provincial and national champions in wrestling. The athletes he has coached in grappling have also been successful at the highest levels. He has taught self defense to prison guards, police and military personnel, as well as high school and elementary students. He has worked with National Championship Hockey, Baseball, and Rugby teams. Many Police/Fire/EMT also train at Battlefield Strength. Aaron was fortunate for the opportunity to travel to Columbus, Ohio in May 2015 to visit and train at Westside Barbell, owned by world-renowned strength and conditioning coach, Louie Simmons.

Matt's shamanic journey began in the Peruvian Sacred Valley in 2011. He has a passion for entheogenic plants and has received many gifts from his plant teachers. Matt has committed himself to a path of learning so that he can share the benefits and abundant healing properties of plant medicines.
How do you know it’s the most up-to-date research and testing? Because, well, Conor’s a bit of a research junkie. He lives and breathes all information that can give him the knowledge to help provide his patients with what they most deserve: the best possible treatment. And that’s when the results happen.

As a UWO grad in Health Sciences, Conor has completed his RMT certification and has also earned his credentials in Sports Injury Therapy and Acupuncture.

In the fall of 2016, Matt will complete his certification with the International Association of Kambo Practitioners. In addition to this, he is also working towards completing the requirements of Level II Reiki practitioner.
Luisa is a Child and Youth Worker, Yoga Teacher and Reiki Practitioner. She has studied Ayurveda and various styles of yoga including Iyanger, Ashtanga, Restorative and Yin and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Her connection to these modalities comes from her own healing journey and inquiry into the psyche.
Luisa’s approach in her work focuses on encouraging personal development, healing and radical self transformation. She supports clients she works with in accessing inner wisdom, cultivating greater self awareness and mind, body, spirit connection. She believes for herself that Floating has been an integral part of her process and is passionate about sharing that with others. Luisa is also passionate about social justice and activism and is currently pursuing her Masters in Psychology and Counselling. She believes that Floating, Energy Work and Yoga has nurtured and supported these passions.
