All of our meditation classes are by donation.

Sandeep walked in one day, sat down, started dreaming and never got up and we don't know who to call to collect him.

Steve Ferrell teaches Yoga, Meditation, and Mindfulness practices in the Hamilton area. Steve has been studying and practicing meditation for a decade. Over this time he has worked with many different techniques from different lineages of Yoga, and Buddhism as well as studying Western-based psychological perspectives.

    His searching finally settled when he found Zen practice 3 years ago through the teaching of his primary teacher Shoken Michael Stone. He believes that a sitting practice is essential for survival in an "Attention Deficit Society". He also strongly believes in the power of meditation to help calm habitual thought patterns, and centre one's self directly in the middle their life. He helps his students find the simplicity and beauty within the work of sitting and mindfulness based practices.  He continues to study the Dharma with Michael as well as other teachers including Roshi Enkyo O'Hara, Peter Levitt, and Pascal Auclair.


    He is currently studying Yoga Therapy with Susi Hately of Functional Synergy and studying Ayurveda with Toronto based Ayurvedic practitioner Matthew Remski. And, also involved in on going research studies to see how Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda can help people primarily in the mental health field.

I started my mindfulness journey in 2011, taking my friend’s hot yoga class and coming out a dripping mess. Though this connection to yoga I found my love of meditation and creating space. Through my commitment to the practice I learned more about my body, my movement and my internal self.

    I truly felt the freedom and inspiration to grow. Soon after I took a 200 hour teacher training course at my home studio and I have been continuing to expand my practice ever since I count myself as a skeptic – I am not quick to adopt a new pose or technique before having connected to it and understanding it. Which means I don't strictly follow a, or any, particular school of meditation, I take the best of whatever I learn about, and adopt it or leave it for  future date.


    I have been been practicing meditation and it's branches since I first engaged in yoga. Always seeking a new way to understand and connect to this brief existence. Meaning that I'm willing to discuss the benefits and detriments of any practice, for I hold none solely above others.


    We are all heading in the same direction, taking our own path. I wish to honour the journey, where ever it leads.

What is Massage Therapy? "The practice of Massage Therapy is the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain." (Massage Therapy Act, 1991) A pre-float massage will help prepare your body for a total relaxation and detoxification. Float prices are reduced when paired with a massage. Floats are $45 ($40 for members) when paired with any massage option. Massage treatments are eligible for a receipt for insurance purposes. A receipt will be issued by the RMT after your treatment is complete

Morgan Jacques

    Morgan has been fortunate to treat clients from all walks of life, from ages 8 to 88 which has given her the chance to be exposed to a broad spectrum of ailments. Postural imbalances, headaches, high stress and athletic injuries have all been common reasons for her clients to seek out massage therapy.


    A big draw to becoming part of the Zee Float team comes from Morgan's love of swimming as part of her triathlon training. She believes time in the water, whether swimming or floating, is incredibly therapeutic and meditative. The pairing of massage with float therapy is a winning combination.


    Aside from triathlon, Morgan is fortunate to spend lots of time (mostly outdoors) with her family, including her young son and husband. Their passion is supporting local businesses, and discovering new places to explore in Hamilton.

Osteopathic treatments have influence on the anatomical structures of the body so that there may be proper physiological function and in turn encourage the body's intrinsic ability to self-heal. How does it work? Imagine you have a stone in your shoe. You will automatically change the way you walk in order to compensate for the stone. You will place more weight on the opposite foot and alter the way you swing you arms. Your nervous system is telling you there is a sensation change in your foot. Your blood pressure may increase slightly because of the discomfort. If you can't get the stone out straight away, your ankle may start hurting due to the change in gait, or your knee or your hip. This is an example of what happens when lesions occur in the body. Osteopathy searches for the stone and works to correct any compensating alteration patterns. What to expect at an initial appointment? A thorough health history is taken and a physical assessment followed by treatment. Appointments take approximately 45 minutes and are conducted fully clothed. For ease and comfort during treatment, please wear loose, comfortable clothing (no jeans). A follow up appointment is approximately 30 minutes.

Marcelle has been fascinated by health and the human body since childhood, a passion that continues to drive her in her chosen field of Osteopathy. The Australian native holds her Masters in Osteopathic Manual Sciences from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and is a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association.
